Maximize the effects of the entire plant by making an infused tincture. A tincture concentrate removes a large portion of the alcohol in the mixture, leaving with you a reduced and concentrated product. Use our recipe to increase the potency of your tincture dramatically.
Directions
First make your desired amount of Magical Tincture, strain, and set aside.
- Transfer into a non-stick saucepan the portion of strained tincture that you want reduced to MBO. (Approximately 10 percent or less of the original tincture volume will remain after cooking.)
- Place the saucepan on an electrical or induction plate on low heat and bring it to a slow boil.
- Continue simmering for approximately 30 minutes. Continually stir oil from sides to bottom of the saucepan. When the consistency reaches that of warm maple syrup you have produced MBO.
- Remove your MagicalButterOil Concentrate from heat and allow it to cool 1 minute before pouring it into a dark glass container.

Recipe Note
For best results do not pre-grind botanicals. Adjust amount of botanicals as needed. Do not add water or lecithin.
Patience is essential—cooking time may vary based on variety of factors. When properly prepared, MBO extract is very concentrated. Exercise caution. Alternatively, you can use regular MagicalButter Tincture as your starting material. Volume of resulting MBO will be lower if less botanical material is used to make tincture.
CAUTION: MATERIALS ARE HIGHLY FLAMMABLE. Could cause injury. Never use an open flame, natural gas or propane burner, or permit smoking around the cooking process.
